We run choirs involving people impacted by homelessness, delivering joyful weekly rehearsals with a hot meal afterwards all year round, regular life-affirming gigs and outreach singing workshops to share the power singing together has to make you feel healthier, happier and part of a community.

The cost of living crisis and housing crisis means that homelessness has reached critical levels in 2026. The Big Issue reports that 330,410 households were owed support to prevent homelessness after contacting their council for help in 2024-25. They also revealed that an estimated 8,010 people slept rough in England in December 2025, up 7% on the same month a year previously. Our choirs provide vital support, community, respite and human connection during increasingly challenging times.
Our safe, welcoming and inclusive choirs offer more than just a place to sing. They help members build confidence, form lasting friendships and develop or use existing skills. We work alongside participants to co-deliver choir activities, giving everyone the chance to play an active role in their choir community. This creates opportunities for both musical and personal growth and can be a catalyst for long-term, positive change in people’s lives.
