When the unthinkable happens, no one should face it alone. For 35+ years, Survivors’ Network has stood beside women and girls across Sussex after sexual violence and abuse. As Sussex’s only Rape Crisis Centre, we supported 2,489 survivors in 2024–25 with specialist care, belief and hope.

Sexual violence is rising while justice falls further out of reach. Since the pandemic, the Crown Court backlog for sexual offence cases has risen by 196%, and 15.9% of people aged 16+ have experienced sexual assault or attempted assault. Behind every figure is a person living with trauma, fear and isolation. Without timely, specialist support, survivors in Sussex can be left to cope alone.
Survivors’ Network exists to ensure that no survivor is left to cope alone. We provide confidential support through a helpline, groupwork, specialist one-to-one therapy, Independent Sexual Violence Advisors (ISVAs), and dedicated services for children and young people. Every survivor’s journey is different, and our services are designed to respond flexibly, safely, and with compassion, so they can regain a sense of control over their lives and move forward with dignity and choices.
