Many people prefer to stay at home during their illness. The growing need for palliative care means that more people are facing life-limiting illnesses without the specialist support they deserve. Our Community Nurses provide specialist palliative care 365 days a year. They give advice and information centred on controlling pain and other symptoms. We still desperately need the help of our community to ensure our vital services continue. It costs over £5.9m per year to run all our services.
Our specialist palliative care is provided free of charge and is personalised to each patient. This campaign will help ensure we can continue to be here for everyone who needs us, whether at home or in the hospice. Donations will help cover essential costs such as nursing care, medical support and family services - everything needed to keep our hospice running. Your support can help us to meet the growing demand for our vital, specialist care.
