For 10+ years, Refugee Community Kitchen (RCK) has been serving nourishing meals to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity in London, Calais and Dunkirk. We believe in a world where everyone has access to sufficient, nourishing and culturally-familiar food.

We know our community is experiencing food insecurity largely due to the cost of living crisis - and that vulnerable groups, such as disabled people, racialised communities and the elderly are 'disproportionately affected' [The Trussel Trust’s ‘Hunger in the UK’ report (2025)]. By providing accessible, high quality meals to all who present at our street services, we support people’s right to dignity, empowerment, community and hope.
Alleviating hunger meets urgent needs and fosters long-term resilience and opportunities for people, helping them rebuild their lives. - We serve nutritious, hearty and culturally-familiar food, and cater for the various diets of our community. - We use high quality, fresh ingredients and provide options so people can choose. - We are reliable, setting up in the same public locations, at the same time, every week, so as many people as possible can access our services..
