Winter is one of the toughest times of year for British wildlife. Freezing temperatures, storms, flooding, habitat loss, road traffic collisions and food shortages leave thousands of animals vulnerable. Many arrive hypothermic, starving, injured or too weak to survive alone. At the same time, the cost of providing life-saving care continues to rise, with incubators, heat lamps, medicines, specialist food and emergency rescues needed around the clock.
Your support will help keep Vale Wildlife Hospital open and ready for every wildlife emergency this winter. With your help, we can provide emergency veterinary treatment, keep incubators and rehabilitation spaces running, supply food and medicines, rescue animals in danger and continue operating 24/7. Every donation helps give sick, injured and orphaned British wildlife the chance to recover and return to the wild.
