People experiencing homelessness face severe health inequalities and barriers to care. Without a fixed address, working phone or safe place to stay, it can be impossible to receive appointment letters, prepare for treatment, store medication or recover after hospital. Groundswell helps people get healthcare and support they need, and a voice in improving services.

Groundswell will work alongside people with experience of homelessness to provide peer advocacy, practical support and progress away from homelessness. Our trained peer volunteers and staff help people access healthcare, feel heard, build confidence and take the next step. We also use lived experience insight to improve services and support lasting change.
