Hundreds of people will be trapped inside immigration detention over Christmas this year. By delivering support and advice to people in detention, we help ensure that people are reunited with their loved ones over the festive period. Your donation can help us continue our vital work.

In 2025, the government locked nearly 23,000 people in immigration detention. People are detained indefinitely, in small cells, resulting in high rates of anxiety, depression, trauma, and distress. Meanwhile, healthcare services are under-resourced and access to vital legal support is limited. The trauma of detention long affects communities beyond release: children can be separated from their parents and people in detention may no longer be able to support their families on the outside.
We present a holistic solution. We provide frontline casework support to people in detention, helping them understand their rights, access justice, and reunite with their loved ones. Alongside this, we campaign for systemic change to end indefinite detention and campaign for a more humane immigration system. This dual approach meets urgent needs now while fighting for a fairer, more just immigration system in the future.
