We address social isolation, food insecurity and support wellbeing on Broadwater Farm. Haringey is the fourth most deprived London borough, with Broadwater Farm ranked among England's 10% most deprived areas for income, employment, crime, housing and child poverty. Around 40% of children receive free school meals and many households face fuel poverty. These challenges increase loneliness, poor health and financial hardship, limiting opportunities and reducing quality of life.
We will run weekly community sessions on Broadwater Farm combining healthy, shared meals with active travel and cycling workshops. This directly fills local service gaps, building health, confidence, and connection. Our approach tackles isolation and food insecurity simultaneously, empowering residents in a supportive space. This directly advances our mission to improve wellbeing and reduce hardship, transforming lives through practical, community led support.
