Local families with children 0–11 are struggling with increased mental health needs, social isolation and poverty, while cuts to Early Help, Council and NHS services leave them without the support they need to thrive. Our referrals continue to rise in number and complexity, with 73% reporting parental mental health concerns, 53% isolation and 48% low self‑esteem. Demand is outpacing capacity, and without urgent early help, families are at risk of crisis escalation and adverse outcomes.
We support families with children from birth to age 11 by providing early, home‑based emotional and practical help from trained volunteers and staff, alongside drop‑ins, parenting workshops, 1:1 advice, wellbeing and support groups and holiday activities. Our trusted, relational model is unique locally and proven to reduce isolation, improve parental mental health and build resilience. These combined services create a wrap‑around network that prevents crisis and helps children thrive.
