Most recent records show that 1611 people impacted by homelessness died across the UK in 2024. Nobody should be expected to survive a Mancunian winter on the streets in 2026. Help us stop the deaths of the most vulnerable in our community by keeping the Booth Centre's doors open for all.

People are living without security, without a bed to sleep in, without warmth, without food, and without anyone. For more than 30 years the Booth Centre has worked at the sharp end of homelessness in Greater Manchester, witnessing first-hand the needless despair and deprivation of so many lives in our community. Rates of homelessness continue to rise with no end in sight, and the impact goes far beyond the night on the streets - with people carrying the trauma throughout the rest of their lives.

Following a cold, dark night, alone in Greater Manchester, the Booth Centre is a beacon of community, warmth, and hope. More than 100 people each day rely on our doors being open, our expert advice and support, and our home-cooked meals. Each year, we serve more than 26,000 meals, host dozens of partner services, and provide bespoke support to everyone from our thriving community hub. The Booth Centre is the place where everyone can pull up a chair and find community this winter.
