At The Access Project, we deliver a transformational programme of support, equipping under-resourced young people with the skills and confidence to apply, place and thrive at top universities. With your support, we can reach even more young people and help them fulfil their enormous potential.

Young people from under-resourced backgrounds are three times less likely to attend a top university compared to more advantaged students. Yet, when these young people attend university, they are four times more likely to become socially mobile and end up as a high earner. We envision a fairer society where every young person, regardless of background, can thrive in education and unlock their potential.
We partner with schools in areas of deprivation and low university progression across London, the Midlands and the Northwest, to reach the young people who need us most. Our programme features bespoke one-to-one mentoring, coaching in key transferable skills, professional A level tutoring and enrichment opportunities. Together, these elements bring top universities into focus, inspire young people to apply and place at top institutions, and help students break down barriers to university.
