We provide 4000 children around the world with a life-changing education to help them escape the generational poverty cycle. In Ethiopia, 1000 children rely on our care, yet 1 in 4 face leaving education to provide for their families. Their families are forced to make agonising choices between feeding their children, paying rent to keep a roof over their heads or covering medical emergencies - this can tear a family apart. We’ve identified 253 families in urgent need of this lifeline.

To support families in their toughest moments and prevent them turning to child labour, the Keeping Families Together programme will support parents and guardians with monthly food parcels, rent support and medical care. This intervention will take care of their urgent needs, allowing their children to remain in full-time education. While families receive this support, we will also provide income-generating training to help them move towards self-sufficiency in the long-term.
