Emerging classical musicians need high-quality professional opportunities to establish sustainable careers, yet funding pressures are reducing paid engagements and developmental pathways. Young people have seen music squeezed from the curriculum despite its proven benefits for wellbeing, confidence and creativity. At the same time, much of the rich musical heritage of Mozart's contemporaries remains unheard.

As The Mozartists approaches its 30th anniversary, we are investing in the next generation of artists, audiences and musical discoveries. Through performances, recordings, MOZART 250, our Emerging Artists Programme and schools’ projects, we create opportunities for emerging musicians, bring neglected repertoire to life and inspire thousands of young people. This anniversary year will celebrate three decades of achievement while helping secure the future of our artistic and educational work.
