Leeds Baroque is the City's only period instrument choir and orchestra. performing familiar works of the 16th & 17th century – but are keen to bring less familiar repertoire to our audience, including the commissioning of performing editions of unpublished works. Given rising costs we wish to maintain affordable ticket prices & our policy of free admission for students and young people and provide paid performance opportunities for up-and-coming young professionals

By building an audience with attractive programming, carefully targeted advertising, our website and our expanding social media In addition multiple fundraising efforts with grant applications, public appeals (such as this) the support of the "Friends of " and a small number of individual donors. A successful season will ensure the continuation of the previous 26 years of development, and ensure that this underrepresented period of musical development is not lost to history.
