Mobile zoos transport, confine and display animals for entertainment, often disguised as education. Our investigations have found animals without water or species-specific care, living in fear. We will expose this exploitation, mobilise public action and help councils adopt animal-free policies.

Mobile zoos present themselves as harmless and educational, often targeting families and children. Instead, they teach that animals can be touched, displayed and transported for entertainment. Audiences see a brief encounter, while the animals endure repeated confinement and stress. This normalises exploitation and hides the reality of captivity. The industry is growing and without greater public understanding and clear animal-free policies, more animals will suffer in these displays.

We will use our investigations and research to expose the reality of mobile zoos for the animals and challenge the claim that they provide harmless education. We will help supporters respond to local bookings, work with councils to adopt animal-free policies, and provide schools, venues and communities with clear information and ethical alternatives. We will also build public and political support to end the use of animals in mobile zoos.
