Campaign to support The Royal Ballet School as it enters its second century, enabling it to remain a needs-blind centre of excellence in ballet education and training, and shaping how ballet and dance are taught globally through a sector-leading holistic and student-centred approach.

To thrive in its second century, The Royal Ballet School must achieve financial independence. Government and external support are shrinking and uncertain, creating a significant funding gap. As entry is based solely on talent, 90% of our students require financial aid; 25% need full support. We must therefore grow our community of supporters to ensure the longevity of our world-leading, accessible education is maintained, preserving our status as a centre of excellence for the next 100 years.
By growing our community of those passionate about enabling access to elite arts education and the future of ballet in the UK and globally, we will be able to increase our income, become financially independent and sustain the School and its students. Crucially, we will be able to bridge our gap in funding to sustain excellence and continue to provide equitable access to opportunity.
