Access to creative & cultural activity for CYP is unequal; many experience financial & social barriers to accessing cultural opportunities.In Cambridge, Britain’s most unequal city, disparity of opportunity reaches beyond the boundaries of the city further into Cambridgeshire & Fenland.For families facing a cost of living crisis lack of infrastructure results in limited accessible arts activities locally, leaving CYP without opportunity to try new things & build confidence through arts & culture
We will provide access to meaningful cultural activities for CYP who face poverty of opportunity & take creative learning opportunities in to schools & communities; providing workshops, storytelling, co-creation & performance opportunities. Your donation could support our work in schools & communities, ensuring this remains free at the point of access for CYP & that performances of our professional productions can be offered for free or greatly reduced prices to those communities.
