Rising food, energy and living costs are leaving more local families unable to afford basic essentials. Many people coming to Burngreave Foodbank are facing debt, low income, benefit delays, poor health or insecure housing. Demand for emergency food support continues to grow, with many households struggling to feed themselves and their children, particularly during the winter months when financial pressures are even greater.

Burngreave Foodbank will provide emergency food parcels and practical support to people experiencing financial hardship across Sheffield. Alongside food, we offer a welcoming community space, signposting and access to further support where needed. Funding will help us purchase food and essential items to ensure vulnerable families and individuals can continue accessing support during the winter period when demand is highest.
