Pollution harms health, floods damage homes, heat makes places less liveable, and wildlife dwindles. Communities lose access to nature and green space, taking away the beauty, life and joy our rivers should bring.
Thames21 brings people and partners together to restore rivers, combining river restoration with community action. We improve water quality, restore habitats for wildlife, and reconnect people with their rivers, while empowering volunteers through hands-on projects and citizen science. Together, we reduce flood risk, cool urban areas and bring rivers back to life, restoring places of joy for people and wildlife.
