Musicians enrich society through the music they create, often at great personal and financial cost. Our charity supports musicians at any stage in their careers, providing a vital safety net for those who dedicate their lives to performing and creating the music we all love.

Working musicians walk a tightrope with no safety net. Our 2023 Musicians Census of nearly 6000 musicians showed that 23% of musicians cannot financially support themselves or their families from being a musician and 17% of musicians are in debt. High costs of working along with irregular income mean musicians face significant financial risk, while the elite level of skill required by working musicians means injuries require specialist health care.
Help Musicians’ services support both physical and financial wellbeing, including arranging health assessments and offering grants for medical procedures and costs associated with health conditions. In addition, we support individuals in navigating financial challenges and give musicians the tools they need to build sustainable, healthy careers. Through this holistic approach, our dedicated team delivered over 13,000 interventions in 2025 to support the lives and careers of musicians.
