Across the UK, communities are facing a new era of profound and abrupt changes. Climate change and biodiversity loss are threatening and disrupting the global systems we have all come to rely on. To rise to this challenge, there is growing recognition of the need for communities to build resilience. That’s where CAT comes in. We help people to develop the skills and strengthen the web of human connections needed to adapt and bounce back in times of change.

Building resilience delivers tangible benefits for whole communities, as well as being a creative and empowering process for individuals. Your support will help provide hands-on environmental education in a diverse mix of areas, from sustainable building to stronger food systems, and at all levels, from family-friendly open days to postgraduate study. The knowledge, skills and tools we share will enable more people and their communities to make the vital transition to a more resilient future.
