Help us to give children from some of the UK’s most disadvantaged communities a magical theatre experience this Christmas and into 2027. Your support will also help develop our range of dynamic educational initiatives, all designed to make the impact of these trips last long after the curtain falls.

Creative industries are central to this country’s cultural, economic and social fabric, worth £125 billion to the UK economy. Yet as child poverty hits a record high of 4.5 million, too many young people from disadvantaged communities are cut off from this world and its opportunities. Theatre equips children with essential skills – storytelling, teamwork, problem-solving – that support academic and emotional development, as well as opening up a wide range of aspirational careers.
Our mission is to bridge this provision gap by awarding grants that cover the cost of school theatre trips with a well-targeted educational component. Schools can access our free learning resources to deepen the impact of a performance. Our beneficiaries are children aged 7-16, particularly those from low income families. Since 2021 over 20,000 UK pupils have benefited from our grants, but we lack resources to support many other deserving applicants. Help us to ensure no child is left behind.
