Women and girls affected by sexual violence often face long waits, fragmented systems and barriers to accessing safe, specialist support. Many experience isolation, poor mental health and fear of not being believed. For some, our helpline is the first or only step towards support. Demand for our service continues to rise, but specialist services remain underfunded. Without accessible early emotional support, many survivors are left to cope alone and can reach crisis point before receiving help.

Our specialist helpline provides free, confidential emotional support for women and girls affected by sexual violence. Open four evenings a week (Monday–Thursday), the service is delivered by trained staff and volunteers who provide compassionate listening, information, safety planning and signposting. Last year we supported 338 women - a 33% increase in demand - responding to 1,277 calls and 629 emails from survivors seeking support, understanding and connection.
