Christmas can be isolating for people living with dementia and those who care for them. At ADSS, we provide practical support, care, and guidance – helping families stay connected every day of the year and never face dementia alone. Because dementia should never mean loneliness for anyone.

Dementia is one of the most isolating conditions a person can face. Around a million people are living with dementia in the UK – a figure set to rise to 1.4 million by 2040. Too many go without the specialist support, social care, and guidance they need. For carers, the emotional and practical burden often can be overwhelming. Without the help and support, dementia can lead to loneliness, loss of independence, and a devastating decline in quality of life for individuals and their families.
ADSS provides life-changing, person-centred dementia support and care, from navigating the diagnosis process to the most difficult final moments. We offer practical support, personalised care, and expert guidance throughout the community, bringing wellbeing services such as our Memory Cafés and activity groups. We work with individuals, families, and healthcare professionals to reduce isolation, promote independence, and ensure no one faces dementia alone.
