St Richard’s is a 1960s architectural gem with its striking green hyperbolic paraboloid roof — a church, a cultural venue, and a warm community hub all in one. Fixing the roof will let us welcome more people in Ham into our spaces and expand what we can offer. Your support will help us do this.

As the cost-of-living crisis deepens, isolated older people, young single parents, and those with health conditions that make life tough need the access to the support and services we and our partners offer even more. If you’re feeling alone or are desperate for a listening ear, we’re here to signpost, help or support you, whenever you need us. It’s not just our roof that we're fixing but also the crisis of loneliness that we are experiencing.

Our project activity programme will offer ways for people to connect, make friends and find their sense of identity and purpose through taking part in our art, music, history and food related projects. We’re giving local kids chances to try new things and these are not the sort of opportunities that are readily available to many of them as some of the families we support are living in really deprived conditions where even the basics like food, hygiene products and furniture are a struggle.
