We’re here to tell the story that peace isn't something that happens to us. It's something we shape through shared endeavour and shared belonging. It will always be the work everyone who has ever chosen it, and everyone who chooses it today. Help us to inspire more people to make that choice.

Peace is rarely the story history tells. Too often, its stories have been silenced or written out. They tell a distinctly different story: that peace is possible, and that it has always depended on people choosing it, together. We make sure these stories are not lost & in doing so, stand ready to support people on their journey into building peace, by providing a wealth of opportunities to engage with our collection & our work with communities, artists, and peacebuilders young & old.
The doors to our museum are always free to enter for all. Our engagement work reaches thousands of young people, teaching not only history, but the critical thinking skills which are the essential for peace building & our redeveloped space invites conversations and connection through exhibitions, events, talks and workshops. We believe that when you recognise your place in peace, you’re also able to appreciate your power to shape the future. Our impact is huge, but we can do even more.
