For many families, Christmas is a time of joy. For others it can bring anxiety, isolation and impossible financial choices. Rising living costs mean many parents worry about affording food, heating and presents for their children. Research shows that more than half of parents in low-income households experience worsening mental health at Christmas due to financial pressures. No family should face Christmas feeling alone, excluded, or unable to provide for their children.

WYZ will provide practical support, festive experiences, and a sense of community to families facing hardship. We will host a special Christmas Meal, distribute food hampers and gifts, offer family support services, and bring communities together through our Santa's Sleigh visits. Alongside meeting immediate needs, we will create joyful memories, reduce isolation, open pathways to future support, and ensure families know they are valued, supported and cared for during the festive season.
