Refused people seeking asylum are among the most vulnerable in our community. They are destitute, homeless and prevented from accessing public funds, leaving them with no income, no safety net and nowhere to turn. Daily survival is a struggle, exposing them to exploitation, isolation and worsening mental health. They rely on us as their only consistent source of food, essentials and wellbeing support, and the only place where they are treated with dignity.
We welcome refused people seeking asylum with the consistent, dignified support they cannot access elsewhere. Our Friday group offers food, essentials and a safe community space. Through advocacy and holistic casework, we help people build stability, understand their rights and reduce the risks created by destitution and homelessness, taking steps toward safety, dignity and hope.
