With your help, we can fund two hospice nurses for a full year who will provide free, compassionate palliative care to people in our community who need it - at home or on our Inpatient unit, wherever is right for them.

We support around 3,000 local patients each year, many with increasingly complex needs due to an ageing population and multiple illnesses. Without specialist support, this can lead to avoidable hospital admissions. Hospital isn’t always the right place for people who need palliative care and many prefer to be supported in more comfortable or familiar surroundings.
By funding two hospice nurses, we will deliver responsive, personalised palliative and end of life care in the place that is right for each individual. This may be in the comfort of their own home or in our specialist Inpatient Unit.
