Survivors of modern slavery and exploitation often struggle to find the right kind of support they need locally. Through Project HOPE we provide support tailored to their specific needs, which helps avoid homelessness, destitution and isolation, and equips them to begin to rebuild their lives.

Survivors of modern slavery often face homelessness, destitution and isolation and are at high risk of being re-exploited due to their vulnerabilities. They often lack access to services and information that will help them rebuild their lives. The demand for tailored and specialist support in the Thames Valley for survivors is very significant. Victims continue to be identified across a range of exploitation types, many with significant vulnerabilities, trauma, and barriers to engagement.
ASIOX is uniquely positioned to bring a level of expertise and consistency that is critical when responding to the complex and often acute needs of individuals affected by exploitation. We provide access to a service that understands the issues facing survivors and can respond in a trauma-informed and consistent way, which is vital to achieving positive and sustained outcomes, particularly where more generic provision may not be equipped to meet these needs or it is not accessible to them.
