The project delivers a weekly Maintenance Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (MCST) programme and a monthly Memory Café, both specifically designed to enhance the emotional, cognitive, and social well-being of people living with dementia, as well as provide much-needed support to their carers.

Dementia can have a devastating impact, leading to memory loss, reduced independence, and profound isolation. Carers too often experience high levels of stress, loneliness, and a lack of respite or support. In Westminster, these challenges are compounded by deprivation in areas such as ChurchStreet, Westbourne, and Harrow Road, where access to tailored dementia services is limited.
The Dementia Together Westminster project is designed to enhance the emotional, cognitive, and social well-being of people living with dementia, as well as provide much-needed support to their carers. Through our weekly Maintenance Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (MCST) sessions and monthly Memory Cafés, participants benefit from structured, evidence-based activities proven to improve mood, memory, and quality of life.
