We train Ukrainian veterans to run counseling workshops for other veterans across the country. We aim to address the deep and unmet trauma and other mental scars of soldiers returning to civilian life, thereby enabling the healing of society, turning lived trauma into healing for others.

Ukraine's 1.5 million returning veterans face invisible wounds the healthcare system wasn't built to treat. A 2025 study found 67.4% diagnosed with PTSD or CPTSD; 34.4% with major depression. Unprocessed trauma fuels domestic violence, addiction, suicide and social breakdown. Yet clinical services are overwhelmed, underfunded and often culturally distant from those who need them most. Veterans are falling through the gaps — and the longer they wait, the harder recovery becomes.
We don't treat veterans as broken — we train them to heal each other. Our peer-led model recruits veterans, puts them through structured facilitator training, and deploys them to lead recovery groups in their own communities. Because no one understands combat trauma better than someone who has lived it. Every manual is written in Ukrainian, with veterans, for veterans. Every group trains the next generation of facilitators. We are building a self-sustaining national recovery infrastructure.
