Despite Cambridge's prosperity, homelessness is rising. A single night in Summer 2025 found 37 people sleeping rough, but that's only those visible at the time. Rising costs and housing shortages are pushing more people into crisis than ever before. 94% of rough sleepers have experienced trauma and face complex mental health. They can't escape homelessness alone. They need safe accommodation, mental health support, and wraparound care. The need is urgent.

Jimmy's believes no one should sleep rough in Cambridge. We provide safe accommodation, from emergency shelter, to longer term care at our multiple needs centre, to supported houses and modular homes, but we do far more than house people. Every person receives tailored support including life skills and budgeting training, healthcare access, and mental health support. We also offer holistic activities, such as music therapy, creative writing, and yoga.
