All we want for Christmas is for everyone to feel safe, connected, and loved. But for many LGBTQ+ people, Christmas, means isolation and exclusion. No one should face the festive season alone. With your help, we can make this the reality for our communities.

In 2026, our communities are still fighting for their basic rights. LGBTQ+ people continue to face higher rates of mental health crisis, homelessness, violence and abuse, and isolation, alongside barriers to basic support services. At Christmas, these inequalities deepen. For many, home is not a safe place, and the festive period can mean exclusion, loneliness, and heightened risk. The demand for support is heightened over the winter months with more people in crisis calling our helpline.

Our helpline is a vital lifeline for those in crisis, providing immediate, affirming support when it’s needed most. Meanwhile, our Village Angels volunteers are out on the ground in Manchester and Liverpool, delivering first aid, mental health interventions, and practical support to reduce harm and keep LGBTQ+ people safe. Alongside year-round community events, our Festive Feast brings people together over Christmas who would otherwise be alone, offering a warm meal and a place to belong.
