Croydon neonatal unit needs a new incubator to treat the vulnerable babies in their care. The unit treats over 500 babies a year, born from 27 weeks with a range of health issues. They need a replacement to ensure they can continue to provide the highest level of care to these vulnerable babies.

The neonatal team at Croydon Hospital are in desperate need of a new incubator. An incubator is a life saving piece of kit that provides regulated oxygen and built-in monitors to constantly track heart rate, respiration, and temperature to support the babies health and recovery. It also allows the team to administer medication and monitor the baby closely. An incubator has an average lifespan of just seven years, we would like to support Croydon to purchase a new one.

As a neonatal charity run by parents with lived experience of the neonatal journey we know how essential an incubator is in treating your baby at this difficult time, particularly at a time when NHS budgets are at an all time low. Purchasing a new, state of the art incubator will provide a life saving resource for hundreds of babies in their care and reduce the risk of equipment not being available as and when it is needed.
