Around 850,000 children in Europe live outside of family care, with countless more at risk due to poverty, war, disability, and abuse. Residential institutions harm children’s development and increase their risk of addiction, suicide, and trafficking. Disabled children face particular vulnerability - often hidden in institutions and stripped of basic rights. We believe what the Bible has always said, and what is now enshrined in international law: children belong in families, not institutions.

WWO Europe mobilises church-led networks across the continent to support vulnerable children and families. "Without Orphans" movements unite committed advocates, providing a network across Europe that's focused on prevention, intervention, supporting at-risk families, and reforming child welfare policy. We coach leaders, connect countries, and resource frontline workers. Through cross-border collaboration, we multiply impact far beyond what any single organisation could achieve alone.
