We connect people struggling with debilitating body image issues or eating disorders (Mentees) to people who have lived experience of similar challenges (Mentors). By harnessing the powers of empathy and relatability, we aim to provide person-centred, compassionate support to help others heal.

In the UK, an estimated 1.6 million people are living with an eating disorder, and a shocking 1 in 8 adults have experienced suicidal thoughts linked to negative body image. These challenges severely impact mental health, emotional wellbeing and quality of life, yet they often go untreated due to an overwhelmed NHS, high costs of private care, and the perceived shame and stigma associated with these conditions.
Our peer-support programme can change the entire path of someone’s eating disorder or body image journey. After signing up to our app, Mentees are matched with a relatable volunteer Mentor, expertly trained in safeguarding and compassion-focused therapy. Our Mentors provide a safe, accessible and relatable space for Mentees to share their experiences, chatting online for an hour each week for 12-weeks. During this time, Mentors offer guidance, understanding and a non-judgemental listening ear.
