Brain tumours are still the biggest cancer killer of children and adults under 40, reducing life expectancy by an average of 27 years. While progress is happening and new treatments are emerging, it’s not happening fast enough. With more than 130 different types of brain tumour affecting both children and adults, there’s no time to lose. The journey from promising research to effective treatments remains painfully slow. And for those diagnosed today, waiting simply isn’t an option.
As the world’s largest dedicated funder of brain tumour research, our aim is for everyone diagnosed with a brain tumour to live longer, better lives. We want to ensure that effective treatments are available, support is within reach, and nobody is left waiting for the care and answers they need. The researchers we fund are working relentlessly, day after day, determined to make progress and save lives – but if we’re going to make more breakthroughs, faster, we need your support.
