Sudan’s health system is collapsing. 20,000 people are forced to flee their homes daily due to conflict, and 29 million people face extreme hunger. In conflict-affected areas, 70% of health facilities are closed due to severe insecurity, aid cuts and targeted attacks. Reduced healthcare access leaves more children malnourished, elevates pregnancy risks for women, girls and their babies, and increases children’s vulnerability to preventable diseases like TB, polio, yellow fever and Norovirus.

3 years of conflict has severely limited safe access to lifesaving services for women and children. We are providing vital health and nutrition services to families and communities in Sudan, where 80% of people need humanitarian assistance. We are supporting health centres through training and equipping staff and developing water, sanitation, hygiene and cold storage facilities to enable screening and support for malnourished children and provide vital child immunisations and maternal healthcare
