Go Live uses the joy of theatre to support young people’s skill development, emotional wellbeing, and future readiness. The Christmas Challenge will help us deliver our ambitious range of theatre trips and drama workshops in 2027 and support the second year of our national programme.

With a 50% rise in ticket prices, half of schools cutting trips, and GCSE Drama down 40% since 2010, young people are losing access to vital cultural experiences that support personal growth, wellbeing, and professional development. Many theatre opportunities are inaccessible or overpriced. This loss hits particularly those students with protected characteristics or from working class backgrounds, preventing them from discovering a passion for the theatre or reaching their full potential

Go Live will support vulnerable and marginalised young people across the UK to develop new skills, make friends, grow in confidence and feel optimistic about the future through our subsidised theatre trips and drama activities. Our experienced team will give young people the support they need to unlock their potential, targeting areas highlighted as culturally deprived, prioritising schools with the highest level of pupil premium, and working with youth groups in low income areas.
