More people are surviving cancer than ever before. But if you're diagnosed with the deadliest forms of leukaemia, lymphoma or myeloma, your chances are only 1 in 3. Scientific breakthroughs have created promising new treatments which are ready to be tested. But the only way we can get them to patients is through clinical trials. Without urgent funding, these breakthroughs remain out of reach for the people who need them most. Together we can change that.
Blood Cancer UK is launching our biggest project to date. We will fund three pioneering clinical trials to bring the best new treatments to patients sooner. Traditional trials test only one treatment at a time. But our smarter trials will test multiple treatments simultaneously, transforming the way blood cancer research is conducted. This week, every pound donated unlocks another pound for research, doubling progress towards life-saving new treatments.
