We are launching a Hub of Creative Therapies' to provide life-changing play and art therapy to 4-10 year olds across rural North Yorkshire. By reaching children in their own primary schools, we fix the foundations of mental health before they reach a crisis point.

85% of adult mental health disorders start before age 18. In Harrogate, statutory wait times for ADHD/Autism assessments have hit a critical 4.4 years. Rural families are disconnected, facing long travel to services they cannot afford. Without early support, primary-age exclusions are rising. We are solving the "missing middle"—children too complex for basic school support but not yet unwell enough for saturated NHS crisis services.
Our "Right Place" model sends specialist Creative Therapists into rural primary schools to fill the gap where talking therapies fail younger, pre-verbal, or neurodivergent children. Activities include: • High-intensity 1:1 creative therapy (Art/Play/Music). • Systemic parent support workshops. Our Training Hub model utilises supervised clinical trainees. This innovative approach delivers expert early intervention at a fraction of standard market costs, making the service sustainable.
