Schools are increasingly expected to support conversations around inclusion, identity and belonging, but many lack practical tools and lived-experience perspectives to make inclusion meaningful in everyday school life. Young people are often excluded from shaping these conversations despite being most affected by them. Inclusion Ambassadors empowers young people to lead creative, peer-led work that helps schools build understanding, empathy and belonging.

Chickenshed will train and support 60 young people aged 7–21 to become Inclusion Ambassadors, helping them lead workshops, assemblies and creative activities in schools. Drawing on their own lived experiences, they will open up honest conversations about belonging, difference and empathy. Together, they will create practical resources, podcasts and films that help 40 schools turn inclusion from an idea into everyday practice.
