Breast cancer outcomes remain unequal across the UK, with significantly lower screening uptake and later diagnosis in deprived and ethnically diverse communities. This is driven by systemic barriers including limited access to culturally relevant health information, language barriers, low health literacy, mistrust of services, and a lack of tailored engagement in trusted community settings.

We deliver culturally tailored breast health outreach in trusted community settings across Greater Manchester, working alongside community groups and local partners to improve access to clear, inclusive information on breast awareness, screening and early detection. Through workshops, multilingual resources, patient stories and community engagement, we increase awareness, reduce fear and stigma, and empower women to seek help earlier and make informed decisions about their breast health.
