A child’s earliest years shape their future, yet many families we support face isolation, poor mental health, financial hardship and overwhelming pressure. Winter and Christmas often intensify these challenges, especially for parents of babies and very young children. Without timely support, family stress can harm parent-child relationships, daily routines, emotional wellbeing and children’s healthy development at a crucial stage.

We provide volunteer-led home visiting, family groups and targeted practical help for families with a child under five. Our trained & supervised volunteers offer weekly, non-judgemental emotional and practical support in the home, helping parents cope, build confidence and create safer, more nurturing routines. Over Christmas and beyond, this will be strengthened with essentials, vouchers and seasonal support for families in greatest need. Parents will feel less isolated and better able to cope.
