Ageing Gurkha veterans and widows in Nepal face serious, often life threatening health challenges that intensify in harsh winters. Frailty, chronic conditions, and isolation in remote areas restrict access to care. Without timely treatment and vaccinations, preventable illnesses can worsen rapidly, leaving many vulnerable to severe complications or death.
Our mobile health teams travel across some of the Nepal’s toughest landscapes in remote mountainous areas to provide 14,500 vaccinations, medical treatment, and regular health checks—ensuring no veteran or widow is left without the lifesaving care they need.
