Siblings of children with rare DNA disorders often face emotional challenges from a young age. Many struggle with their mental health, find it hard to make or keep friendships, and carry complex feelings they don’t know how to express. Some live with constant worry about losing their sibling. Too often, their needs go unseen and unsupported.
Amy and Friends will support siblings by creating dedicated spaces just for them, where they can connect with others who understand their experiences. Through memory-making activities, emotional support, and peer connection, we will help siblings build resilience, confidence, and coping skills, ensuring they feel valued, supported, and less alone from an early age.
