Many young adults reach adulthood lacking confidence, purpose and strong role models. At the same time, churches and communities need resilient, servant-hearted leaders. Few opportunities exist for young Christians to intentionally grow in faith, character and leadership before stepping into adult life. Without investment in young leaders, the next generation loses mentors, role models and people equipped to share the hope of Jesus.

The CYE Trainee Leadership Year immerses young adults in a year of Christian community, discipleship, challenge and service. Trainees help deliver residentials, camps and activities while receiving mentoring, leadership development and professional qualifications. Through living, serving and growing together, they develop the faith, character and confidence needed to lead others and make a lasting difference.
