We aim to reduce stillbirth by raising awareness of baby’s movements. Over 50% of Mothers that had a stillbirth noticed a reduction in their baby's movements beforehand. Raising awareness of fetal movement has been identified as a key element to reducing stillbirth in the NHS's saving baby's lives care bundle. Babies born to Black women have the highest rates of stillbirth (with a rate of 6.5 per 1000 births compared to 3.5 per 1000 for White women.)

We'll create and distribute resources highlighting baby's movements to Black communities. Resources specifically designed for Black women are vital as when people see themselves represented in health campaigns they're more likely to respond to it. Inadequate access to antenatal care has been associated with increased risk particularly for ethnic minority group so we will focus on community settings to reach those that may not engage with maternity services.
