Deaf, deafblind & hard of hearing women often face multiple barriers when trying to access domestic & sexual abuse services. In addition, they also have Deaf culture, dependency on the abuser, increased economic inequality and BSL language & communication barriers that prevents access to mainstream services. Our essential deaf-led services help deaf/deafblind victims & survivors to access our tailored, culturally competent support services, leading to a life free from fear and abuse.
